That is oh so pretty! I love the etching...I took a class on etching at the Bead & Button show this June, but the chemicals make me nervous. What did you use?

I never know what I'll find when I visit your beautiful blog....but it's always something wonderfully different. Your etched metal turned out so pretty, as well as the wire links. You could surely be an instructor if you wanted to...and would have many students like me! :-)

sharon, I use the percholur of iron to etch the copper, I find in computer's shops(to print circuits) or by correspondence, with the burning material to the "heavy water" in french, "eaux fortes", a very old way of etch !

Chemical doesn't make me nervous, what makes me nervous is the fact that i can't find the etchant product more easily!!!
The future buterflies will be beautiful with the Deryn Mentock's method for wings. Have you seen it ?
