hautes alpes, and Romance brooches

Yesterday, we went to see a customer (not mixed media at all!! we have our own buisness with my husband)  in the Hautes Alpes (2 hours drive go back 2 more)

We brought the kids with us, enjoying this trip for a little walk .. we ate at the lake "Serre- Ponçon " it was beautiful ...
we are so  small ... in the immensity!

Look!

Beautifuls Alpes!!!soon a lot of snow there!!

Of course,( you know me now!!), I took my sewing kit in the car I made these 2-brooches, (I am a good-natured, never carsick)

Bonne Journée!!!

Wow, what a view! I live about the same distance from the Alps as you, just on the north side. Amazing that you can sew in the car!! The brooches are lovely!

Beautiful landscapes in fact, soft colors ans a sensation of calm and serenity.

And these two brooches so lovely. How many eyes do you have Sweetie ? Two for the beautiful landscapes, two for the brooches, 6 for the children, may be two for your husband :) mmmhh, Sharon asked about which type of Goddess we are, sure you are a new type of them...

Love you. Romizous.

Esthernita!!

You truly are a Renaissance woman!! And you do it all so beautifully :) Oh the Alps are truly breath taking and the colors in the high meadow were so incredible!!

Now for the gift of being able to work in the car, I'm truly green (and not from being carsick) with envy. Like Sharon I would be so sick just trying to stitch on the straight hiway much less a mountain road!!!!!!!!

How beautiful your altered fabric jewely has become. Oh with cold weather coming I bet the brooches will look awesome on sweaters and wraps!!! Do the women in France wear wraps or shawls??? They do here. In fact we carry them all the time, we fold them the long way and drape it over one shoulder. That way our hands are free, but it's always handy when we need it. So we are always looking for brooches to use with them. Ohhhhhhhh maybe that's how you should market them?????

Have a good evening and it's okay to slow down and just enjoy it without work in your hands!! :)

This world is truly filled with the most amazing, beautiful vistas! Thank you for sharing the beauty around you, and the beauty that you create with your hands, Esther! I love the brooches. I make wire wrapped rings and other wire wrapped things on my car rides. Enjoy the day! Erin

Such breathtaking scenery, I'll bet you wanted to linger a bit longer there with such natural beauty. It's also reflected in your creations!

Hello Esther
Thank you for sharing the beautiful landscape pictures! Ah, what a world away!
I am amazed that you can do such detailed work in the car..that would give me such a headache! And how you could do such a project..you must have had all of the components lined up. These brooches are just breathtaking. This is your signature style..I've never seen anything like them. The fact that you completed two of them in such a short time is nothing short of a miracle to me. :-) They are stunning!
