le Calme

i wanted some colors .. punchy ones.. for change.. the focal is a vintage chandelier with a victorian women's picture , a rose and the words "le calme" .. calm
i've wrapped a rhinestone chain on a silver bar and added some vintage's beads from earrings , even a tiny bell

Chocker is with seed beads and silver chains. Beads are jades , littles quartz, tiny ceramic's donut, and a fluorite for a green touch.

I "tattooed" my old bust polystyrene ..
collages(tissue paper, silk paper) , gesso and walnut ink
I would like to congrat  Cindy  and Jeanette  for their Artbliss , i'm not from the USA east coast.. and maybe never see USA.. but i wish you all the best, girls!!

Oooh, I LOVE your new mannequin!!! What a fabulous idea! It works perfectly with the style of your jewelry. What a unique piece of art! Love what you've done with the chandelier chrystal and the artwork, and your use of the bar with the rhinestones. A vintage feel, but with a modern color sensibility. You're a master of combining the old and the new!

Love the bust (jewelry is great too!). I did something similar with a small bust stand that I have with pages from vintage sewing patterns. I would love to get my hands on more busts like these! Enjoy the day, Esther! Profitez de la journee!
