sewing sewing

hello ladies.. with this persistant virus.. impossible to make hard works.. sewing it's cool and sweet
On the basis of an acyilic and suede bracelet , I stitched felt, fiber and beads for a bohemian look.

****************

And this Romance's necklace , made before Christmas, for a dear friend. Work was difficult because she wanted a tribute to her dad. So I transferred to the fabric a digital picture of him and included on my work her  father's military medals. It was very awesome to work with man's picture and military medals..  , i mean make something feminine with masculine's elements.. but inspiration and love was there

***********
*I want to thanks  Riki because i have her earrings now.. they are absolutely perfects!!!!!
Sharon have a gorgeous and delightful give -away on her blog.. a stunning bracelet . As she often give me  beautiful treasures, I did not take part but communicate the information to you .... quick! !!

well .. thanks for all your lovely comments and wishes of better health.. i 'm working on it..
A bientôt

That neckpiece should be in a museum! What a lot of thought and care, not to mention obviously labor went into that. That is an heirloom that I am sure will be in their family forever. The bracelet is lovely as well! Makes me think of Moulin Rouge (the movie)! And spring. SIGH. No, you can't work very much, can you, when you're sick? And you don't get better if you don't rest! Hard to still the muse, but it must be done. Take a sketchpad to bed and tell her to be quiet!

I just love when you mix fiber and beads! This is one of your true talents, among many. The tribute piece for your friend for her Father is just breathtaking. What a very special keepsake.
Please rest! I hope everyone in your family is on the mend.

Esthernita,

Guess what I'm not going to scold you! :) You are doing very well. I know it's impossible to lay in bed all day and not create one tiny thing. To tell us not to make art is like telling us not to breath!! So since you must make art, do the quiet things you are doing, like sewing or drawing. Creating is good for your soul, it makes it happy and you can not heal your body if your soul is unhappy! :)

Your tribute design is soooooo incredible!! I think you did a magnificent job of combining the life of a soldier into a romantic feminine collar. Oh and I so agree with Cindy your fabric and bead creations represent one of your amazing gifts!!

You and your family are in my thoughts and I send you wonderful warm sunny positive chi to help you heal!!
