Madonna

This is one of my favorite painter William Bouguereau .He inspire me this focal. it's a wooden dome , not so easy to apply an image on a domed surface(I mean for me - maybe you do this very easily , what a chance!)   that's fold and  creases but i  found a tactic!!I love domes , because once the resin is applied , it looks like porcelain.

That's gorgeous, and the bit of ribbon at the top is such a pretty touch.

This piece is beautiful!! You are soooo right, it's very difficult to work with a domed surface.

Dear Esther what a beautiful pendant.
The image is superb. Now I will have to investigate this artist as I am not familiar with his work. Mother and child. You have done a stunning job!
Hugs to you dear friend,

Hello Esther,

Thank you for the visit. I've updated my post so go see. The banner almost sent me to the grave. I used Picasa and I had never used it. It took me a while but I got it done. Gracias y un besito!

That does look like porcelain! It is incredibly beautiful. I love the pictures of the Virgin Mary and Jesus and this one is truly beautiful! I love to work with resin but have not seen anything quite this beautiful before!
